Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Learn It application and services (the “Service”), operated by Learn It (“we”, “us”, ABN [insert ABN]). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Learn It provides syllabus-aligned practice questions, printable exam-format papers, progress tracking, instant marking against marking criteria, and optional marking by a qualified tutor, for Kindergarten to Year 12.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• Accounts for students under 18 must be created and supervised by a parent or guardian, who accepts these Terms on the student's behalf.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity on your account.
• Please provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Subscriptions, billing and trials

• Premium access is A$30 per month (or the price shown at sign-up), billed in advance through our payment provider, Stripe.
• We may offer a free trial (e.g. 7 days). If you don't cancel before it ends, the subscription begins and you will be charged.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Except where required by the Australian Consumer Law, payments are non-refundable for partial periods.

4. Acceptable use

• The Service is for personal, family, or licensed school use only.
• You may print and use materials for your own study. You may not resell, redistribute, scrape, or republish Learn It content.
• Don't misuse the Service, attempt to disrupt it, or access it in a way that breaches any law.

5. Intellectual property

All questions, papers, text, designs, and software in the Service are original works owned by Learn It (or our licensors) and are protected by copyright. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them while your subscription is active.

6. Tutor marking

Where tutor marking is offered, written work you submit will be reviewed by a qualified tutor and returned with feedback. Turnaround times are estimates. [State any monthly limits or fair-use conditions here.]

7. No guarantee of results

Learn It is a study aid. While we design our materials to the NSW syllabus and HSC format, we do not guarantee any particular grade, mark, or ATAR. Learn It is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, NESA or the NSW Government.

8. Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights. To the extent permitted by law, our other warranties are excluded.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Learn It is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months (or, at our option, resupplying the service).

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached. On termination, your right to use the Service ends.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms or the Service. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised date; continued use means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the courts of that jurisdiction.
